Tabby Tuffet:
"Tabby Tuffet is Keemun and Malachi's new love!
The Tabby Tuffet came in the mail last Saturday. I set the package aside to
do something else, which apparently was the wrong answer - I hear a noise in the
other room, and when I investigated, it was my 7-year old long-haired ginger tabby
Malachi, batting the package itself around, with my big 8-year-old short-hair tabby,
Keemun, watching with wide eyes and a flicking tail.
I took the hint and opened the package, and they both loved the tuffet instantly
- so much so I felt immediately guilty for not getting two, one for each of them
(I am ordering another one). They bite it.
They scratch at it with all paws. They lick it. They rub their faces
on the soft "furry" side. And yes, they drool on it. A lot (ew! LOL).
My big lumbering Keemun is notorious for ripping apart supposedly indestructible
catnip toys. He did his best (which is great, since he can use the exercise),
but he has not managed it (yet - you can't fault him for trying...and trying...and
trying).
One and half weeks after arrival, one or both of them seems to almost always be
on the tuffet. And it's still looking and smelling great.
I'm a happy cat mom, buying more for my boys (and sending some to some friends,
too).
